Baby Number Three is a...

HUMAN

BOY!!!

We are thrilled to be welcoming a healthy human baby BOY to our family this November! I'll admit, I was a tad bit disappointed during the ultrasound Friday morning, but as I watched every perfect limb of our baby move and kick, I couldn't help but get excited. The thought of a crew of three little boys just seems right for us and like a lot of fun. I've always wanted three or four children and I feel so lucky that my dream is coming true! I can't believe I'll be holding another squishy newborn this Fall. Pinch me!

^^Haha.  Poor baby looks worried.  It's like he's saying,"Quit squishing me!"  And check out that tiny foot.  Aww.^^

The ultrasound helped put a lot of my anxieties at ease.  Absolutely every detail of our baby looks perfectly healthy.  What a blessing.  And he's measuring right on target for a Nelson baby boy: long and heavier than average, a whopping estimated 13oz.  Woohoo!  Grow Baby, grow!

It's starting to feel real.  I really am going to have a baby in a few months!  I couldn't be happier.  I'm looking forward to setting up Baby's room and washing all those itty bitty clothes.  And of course, you bet I'm going to buy a few new things.  Every baby needs a few new things of his own!  I am also eagerly anticipating those first precious moments in the hospital when I get to meet him for the first time.  What traits will he inherit?  Will he look like either of his brothers?  Will he have red hair?  And what kind of personality does he have?  There is so much ahead of us!  But for now, I'm just dreaming of holding that little weight on my chest and breathing in that intoxicating newborn smell.  Mmmm...
