Popcorn

When Bron is gone overnight, my days can feel very long.  So Jed and I have created a little wintertime tradition: afternoon popcorn and (part of) a movie.  We only watch part of a movie because Jed's attention span is only about an hour long.  Or sometimes we just watch a Western and I fast forward to all the animal parts, namely cows and horses.  Jed "moos" and "naahs" at the screen all hour long.  It's a fun hour!

  1. I think that's fun! And I can totally see how your day would be extra long with Bron gone. I definitely look forward to the second Kyle walks through the door.

  2. You have to do those type of things to keep from going crazy. Travis was about a yr and a half when Alan started traveling for work and I had to come up with fun little things like that too. It will be easier once it gets nice outside because then you can really break it up. We use to go on a ton of walks Travis and I!
And Jed was that tall at his 18th month appointment?! We always knew our kids were possibly going to be short, Alan's mom and everyone on that side of his family are short short (like five feet short) so our poor kid never stood a chance!
