Big Imaginations
Jed and Levi's love for Legos has been going strong for a couple of years now... and I don't see it petering out anytime soon. They have a huge box that lives half tucked under their bed half out on the floor of their bedroom, lego pieces spilling onto the carpet and sprinkled throughout the house. The boys often lock themselves behind their door (to protect themselves from the tornado known as Conrad) for twenty minutes at a time and then come barrelling out to show me their latest and greatest "creations". From hover craft to dinosaurs, their Lego productions are actually quite creative and sometimes frankly impressive! I love their big imaginations, that nothing is exactly as it seems, and that the possibilities are limitless.
I want to remember this time in their childhood. So to honor their love of Legos, I offered to Photoshop Jed and Levi into one of their Lego creations. They were excited and thrilled and happily obliged. I wonder if scenes like these really are going through their innocent little heads as they play?
Anyway, dreams really can come true!

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome idea! I wish Lewie still loved Legos. I think he grew out of them too quickly. They really are great for inspiring all types of possibilities.
