Responsibility, What's That?

My mom used to have a little poem on the side of her fridge:

It can be done
It should be done
It shall be done... tomorrow

Last night the dishes were begging to be washed (again), the laundry carefully folded (yet again), and the bathroom could have benefited from a good scrubbing (again).  Instead, I decided to plop my rear end on the couch and justified my lazy mood by labeling serum tubes for Bron's study while simultaneously watching, The Notebook.

Oh, and I melted some chocolate chips and dipped frozen strawberries in it.  Delectible!

*Sigh*  It was a really nice evening.

I hope I'm not the only one who does this occasionally...

  1. Sounds like my life EVERYDAY!! haha When I come home from work and school all I want to do is just sit. Good thing I get some days off or else the house would NEVER be clean. and I want to eat your chocolate strawberries

  2. I hate to admit it, but that is me more than "every once in a while"! Hey, I was hoping that while we were in Utah, we could find time for you to take some family pictures of my little family for me. I really would love a family picture with Grady in it! Wil you do it, pretty please? Can't wait to see you!

  3. By the way, I love your ornament idea. I hope you don't mind if I copy you. Remember, imitation is the biggest form of flattery! :)

  5. we have to do our laundry at jeff's parent's house in lehi (20-30mins away) and so we wait till we have 4 loads before we go... well, those 4 loads tend to sit on our bedroom floor for a week or two, usually until we realize we're going to have to go do more soon or we get tired of digging for underwear. ;) pretty sure you're not the only one! ;)
